SET with Mind Against All Night Long

SET with Mind Against All Night Long

SET Underground San Francisco presents an extended night of electronic music with Mind Against taking over the decks from open to close at Public Works in San Francisco on Friday, October 2. The event begins at 9:00 p.m. PDT and is built around a three-hour performance, giving the Italian duo the space to develop a complete musical journey rather than compressing their sound into a short festival-style set.

Formed by brothers Alessandro and Federico Fognini, Mind Against are known for a distinctive approach to electronic music that balances atmosphere with movement. Their sound draws listeners into hypnotic rhythms while maintaining a physical, driving quality suited to the dance floor. Their performances often emphasize progression and contrast, allowing tracks and textures to build naturally over an extended period.

What makes this event particularly interesting is its all-night format. Rather than moving between multiple performers, the evening features a single act with no handoffs. Mind Against will control the musical direction throughout the night, creating continuity from the opening moments through the final section of the performance. The extended format allows the duo to explore different tempos, moods, and layers of their sound while responding to the atmosphere of the room.

The event also reflects the broader creative vision behind HABITAT, the label and event series associated with Mind Against. HABITAT extends beyond music into art and technology, sharing the duo’s interest in combining refined aesthetics with immersive experiences.

Hosted at Public Works, the event offers electronic-music fans an opportunity to experience Mind Against in a dedicated club environment rather than a brief festival appearance. Doors and event timing should be checked with the venue or ticket provider for any updates or entry requirements.

SET with Mind Against All Night Long takes place Friday, October 2, at 9:00 p.m. PDT at Public Works, San Francisco, California. With one act, an extended performance, and no interruptions between artists, the night is designed around immersion, continuity, and the evolving energy of the dance floor.
