Women of Teal

Experience an exciting evening of NHL hockey and community celebration at Women of Teal, featuring the San Jose Sharks vs. Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday, March 6, 2027, at 7:00 PM. This special Sharks event brings fans together for a night that combines the energy of live professional hockey with a celebration recognizing women and their contributions to the sport, the Sharks organization, and the wider community. Tickets are on sale now, giving fans the opportunity to plan ahead for this memorable Saturday night.

The featured activity is the Sharks vs. Lightning matchup, with both teams taking to the ice for a competitive night of NHL action. Attendees can expect the speed and intensity of professional hockey from the opening faceoff. Fast offensive rushes, sharp passing, physical battles, defensive plays, power-play opportunities, penalty kills, breakaways, and goaltending saves can all shape the game. Because hockey can change direction in an instant, fans will have plenty of reasons to stay engaged throughout every period.

Beyond the game itself, the Women of Teal theme gives the evening a distinctive sense of purpose. The celebration provides an opportunity to recognize women who have helped shape and strengthen the hockey community while encouraging greater visibility, appreciation, and connection. Special programming, presentations, or themed activities may add to the atmosphere and give attendees additional ways to participate in the celebration.

The event takes place at SAP Center at San Jose, the home of the Sharks and a major destination for live sports and entertainment in the Bay Area. Being inside the arena puts fans close to the action and lets them experience the crowd’s energy as the game unfolds.

With a 7:00 PM start on Saturday, March 6, Women of Teal is well suited for a weekend night out with family, friends, colleagues, or fellow hockey fans.
