Fresh from the release of Cerulean, Danny L Harle brings his most ambitious and personal musical statement to the stage. Released on XL Recordings, Cerulean represents what Harle describes as his true debut album—a 13-track journey into vast, alien sonic landscapes where thunderous bass, euphoric trance synths, intricate sound design, and atmospheric field recordings collide. Inspired in part by Andrei Tarkovsky’s Stalker, the album exists in a space “on the threshold between dreams and reality,” exploring Harle’s fascination with melancholic euphoria, awe, beauty, and the unknown.

The album features an extraordinary lineup of collaborators, including Caroline Polachek, Clairo, Julia Michaels, PinkPantheress, Oklou, and MNEK, alongside emerging voices such as kacha and members of Harle’s own family. Together, these voices add an emotional and human dimension to music built for overwhelming physical impact.

A defining figure in the PC Music era, Harle has spent more than a decade reshaping the possibilities of contemporary pop and electronic music. His production and songwriting credits include work with Charli XCX, Carly Rae Jepsen, FKA twigs, Shygirl, Dua Lipa, and others, while his collaboration with Caroline Polachek on Pang helped cement his reputation as one of pop’s most adventurous producers. His work has earned widespread critical acclaim, including a GRAMMY nomination for Polachek’s Desire, I Want to Turn Into You.

Drawing inspiration from rave culture, classical composition, video games such as Dark Souls, Philip Glass, Renaissance composers, and avant-garde performance, Harle creates music that feels both ancient and futuristic.
