Join the Bay Area community at Thrive City for Weekly Fitness Classes presented by Kaiser Permanente, a seasonal fitness series designed to make movement accessible, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone. Running throughout September, October, and November, the program offers a variety of free classes led by experienced fitness professionals, giving participants an opportunity to stay active while trying different approaches to wellness. Whether you are new to exercise, returning to a fitness routine, or already active, the classes are open to all levels.
One of the featured offerings is Yoga Flow, a purposeful class focused on refreshing the body and building a strong foundation in yoga. The session incorporates essential yoga basics and sun salutations, creating a balanced practice that can help participants move, stretch, and reconnect with their bodies. Participants are encouraged to bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water for the class.
The Yoga Flow session will be led by Cecily Guest, a longtime Bay Area yoga and fitness instructor with 30 years of experience teaching for renowned fitness brands and corporate audiences. Her approach to movement draws from a broad range of disciplines, including dance, Pilates, martial arts, personal training, indoor cycling, and various yogic traditions. Guest is returning for her third year of teaching Thrive City classes and also teaches at Equinox Fitness while leading workshops and yoga retreats throughout California. Her certifications include A.C.E., AFAA, Yoga Fit, Diablo Yoga Center, SCW Pilates, and Reebok Indoor Cycling.
Space for Thrive City fitness classes is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is available seven days a week at the Chase Center Garage, located at 99 Warriors Way.
