Take a break from the usual workday routine and turn your lunch hour into a relaxing musical escape at Live Music Lunch Series at Thrive City. On Tuesday, October 6, 2026, beginning at 12:00 p.m., guests are invited to enjoy free live performances from talented Bay Area musicians while taking in the sunshine and lively atmosphere of Thrive City’s outdoor plaza.
Whether you work nearby, are meeting friends or colleagues, or simply want a pleasant place to enjoy your midday meal, this series offers an easygoing way to slow down and recharge. Instead of rushing through lunch at your desk, grab your favorite meal, find a comfortable spot, and let live local music provide the soundtrack to your afternoon.
One of the highlights of the experience is the opportunity to enjoy performances by Bay Area musicians in an open-air community setting. The music adds a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere to the plaza, creating the perfect backdrop for conversation, people-watching, or simply enjoying a few peaceful moments away from the demands of the day.
Guests can choose how they want to enjoy their lunch. Bring a meal from home or stop by one of the many Thrive City restaurants and bars to pick up something delicious before settling in for the performance. With food, sunshine, and live entertainment all in one place, the event makes it easy to turn a routine lunch into something worth looking forward to.
The event is free to attend, but space and seating are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to find a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the performance.
Parking is available seven days a week at the Chase Center Garage (CCG), located at 99 Warriors Way, making the event convenient for visitors arriving by car.
To help maintain a safe and welcoming environment, Thrive City has venue policies restricting items and activities including weapons, outside alcohol, coolers, lawn chairs, smoking, drones, bicycles, skateboards, roller blades, scooters, tents, and other prohibited items. Trained service animals are welcome in accordance with venue guidelines.
Whether you need a midday reset or simply love discovering local music, the Live Music Lunch Series offers a refreshing way to enjoy your Tuesday. Come to Thrive City, grab some lunch, soak up the sun, and let talented Bay Area musicians make your afternoon a little brighter.
