She Wants Revenge with Rosegarden Funeral Party
Goldenvoice Presents She Wants Revenge with Rosegarden Funeral Party on Sunday, October 18, 2026. Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the show beginning at 8:00 PM. The concert is all ages, offering longtime followers and a new generation of alternative-music fans an opportunity to experience the dark, atmospheric sound that helped shape the modern goth and post-punk landscape.
She Wants Revenge emerged in the mid-2000s when Justin Warfield and Adam Bravin began creating music as a production duo intended for club DJ sets. Their early recordings quickly attracted attention, eventually leading to a record deal and the release of their 2005 self-titled debut. The album produced their breakthrough hit “Tear You Apart,” establishing the duo as a distinctive force within the post-punk revival.
Their music combines moody electronic textures, driving rhythms, dark alternative rock, and emotionally direct songwriting. While their sound became associated with the gothic and post-punk revival, Warfield and Bravin drew from a much broader musical palette, including Prince, Tangerine Dream, ELO, Giorgio Moroder, and 1990s hip-hop. That mix helped give She Wants Revenge a sound that felt connected to earlier decades while remaining distinctly modern.
Following their initial rise, the group released albums and EPs including This Is Forever, Save Your Soul, Up and Down, and Valleyheart. After announcing an indefinite hiatus in 2012, the band’s music found a new audience when “Tear You Apart” appeared in American Horror Story in 2015. The renewed attention eventually led to a 2016 reunion and an extensive run of anniversary shows.
Since returning to the road, She Wants Revenge have continued attracting both longtime fans and younger listeners discovering their music through streaming and social media. Their current lineup features Warfield on vocals and guitar, Bravin on Bass VI and synths, Thomas Froggatt on bass, Tony Bevilacqua on guitar, and Lia Braswell on drums.
Opening the evening is Rosegarden Funeral Party, adding another atmospheric dimension to the night. Their presence complements the darker alternative and gothic elements of the headline performance.
With its all-ages format and 7:00 PM doors, the October 18 concert provides a chance to experience two acts rooted in the darker side of alternative music. Expect a night shaped by brooding melodies, electronic textures, driving guitar work, and the enduring appeal of goth and post-punk-inspired music.
