Actress

Actress comes to the stage on Friday, October 16, 2026, for an evening centered on forward-thinking electronic music and immersive live sound. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., with the performance beginning at 8:00 p.m. The event is all ages, welcoming electronic music fans of different backgrounds and generations.

Actress is the stage name of British producer Darren J. Cunningham, an influential figure in experimental electronic music. Known for a distinctive approach that blends techno, ambient music, house, industrial textures, and abstract sound design, Actress has built a reputation for creating music that can be both rhythmically engaging and deliberately unpredictable. His work often explores the space between melody and noise, structure and improvisation, making each listening experience feel layered and open to interpretation.

That experimental quality is particularly suited to a live environment. Rather than simply presenting straightforward dance tracks, an Actress performance can unfold as an evolving sonic landscape, with shifting rhythms, atmospheric passages, fragmented melodies, and intricate electronic textures. The result is an experience that rewards close listening while still offering moments designed to move a crowd.

The Friday-night date makes the October 16 performance a natural choice for anyone looking to begin the weekend with something outside the ordinary concert format. Arriving when doors open at 7:00 p.m. gives attendees time to enter and get settled before the 8:00 p.m. performance begins.

Because the event is all ages, the concert is open to a broad audience, from longtime followers of experimental electronic music to listeners who may be encountering Actress for the first time. Those planning to attend should check venue-specific information in advance for details concerning accessibility, entry procedures, seating, and other policies.

For fans of electronic music that challenges conventional boundaries, Actress on Friday, October 16, 2026, offers an opportunity to experience a distinctive and immersive performance. With its combination of innovative sound design, unconventional rhythms, and atmospheric depth, the event provides a compelling way to spend a Friday evening immersed in contemporary electronic music.
