San Francisco’s Pink Breath of Heaven takes the stage at The Chapel on Thursday, September 10, 2026, for an atmospheric night of shimmering guitars, haunting melodies, and emotionally charged alternative music. Joined by Topographies and Christina’s Trip, the evening brings together three distinctive Bay Area acts exploring the hazier, darker, and more melodic edges of indie rock.

At the center of the bill, Pink Breath of Heaven is the project of Liv Field and Rex John Shelverton, whose music emphasizes atmosphere as much as traditional songwriting. Their sound is immersive and transportive, built around luminous guitar textures, introspective lyrics, and melodies that seem to linger in the air. Following their debut album Colors Make a Sound, the band has continued establishing itself as a compelling presence in San Francisco’s underground music community, sharing stages with artists including The Dandy Warhols, LSD and the Search for God, Alison’s Halo, Ty Segall, and The Brian Jonestown Massacre.

Topographies adds a colder, more hypnotic dimension to the evening. The San Francisco and Los Angeles coldwave group combines icy drum patterns and driving bass with shoegaze-inspired guitar textures and impassioned vocals. Their evolution from ethereal dreampop toward a streamlined coldwave sound has produced a distinctive aesthetic showcased across releases including Ideal Form, Interior Spring, and the 2025 EP Brutality of Fact.

Opening the night, Christina’s Trip brings its own blend of ’90s-influenced indie and alternative rock. Known for energetic live performances that can shift from punky intensity to dreamy atmosphere, the Bay Area band has developed a devoted local following while building momentum with its 2024 LP Forever After and forthcoming album Distortion Pop.

Doors open at 7:00 PM, with music beginning at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $22 in advance or $26 on the day of the show. ADA seating is available by advance request. Guests can also dine at Curio before the concert and receive expedited entry into The Chapel.
