The Frights – You Are Going to Hate This 10 Year Anniversary Tour

The Frights celebrate a decade of their breakthrough album You Are Going To Hate This with a special anniversary performance on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. Joined by California indie garage rockers Archer Oh, the evening brings together two energetic bands with deep roots in Southern California’s DIY and alternative music communities. Doors open at 7:00 PM, with the show beginning at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $33.50 in advance and $38 at the door.

Formed in San Diego shortly after graduating high school, The Frights originally came together for what was intended to be a one-off, 30-minute set. The response from their hometown crowd changed those plans, and what began almost as a joke quickly developed into a full-time band. Mikey Carnevale and Richard Dotson were later joined by drummer Marc Finn, with guitarist Jordan Clark becoming part of the lineup during the band’s early touring years.

Released in February 2016, You Are Going To Hate This was produced by FIDLAR’s Zac Carper and helped establish The Frights’ distinctive combination of punk attitude, garage-rock energy, catchy songwriting, and youthful irreverence. The album’s 10-year anniversary gives fans an opportunity to revisit the songs in a live setting while celebrating the record that helped define an important chapter in the band’s career.

The bill is rounded out by Archer Oh, a Moreno Valley indie garage rock band formed in the Inland Empire in 2017. Featuring Arturo “Archie” Medrano, Pedro Hernandez, Diego Jacuinde, and Juan Cabrera, the group has built a following through energetic performances, a strong DIY work ethic, and an unmistakable sense of personality.

Archer Oh has shared stages with Destroy Boys, Vundabar, Beach Goons, and Late Night Drive Home, while touring nationally and appearing at festivals including Treefort Fest, Austin Psych Fest, Norman Music Festival, and Freakout Fest. Their live history includes sold-out headline shows and major support dates, giving them plenty of experience in turning a room into an energetic, communal space.

With The Frights revisiting a pivotal album and Archer Oh bringing its own garage-rock momentum to the bill, the September 23 show offers a lively night for fans of punk, indie, garage rock, and Southern California alternative music.
