Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the event beginning at 7:00 PM. This special celebration is 21 and over and brings together an exceptional lineup of acclaimed artists for a one-of-a-kind benefit concert honoring KALW’s legacy while looking toward The Next 85 Years.

For more than eight decades, KALW has been a distinctive voice in the Bay Area, connecting listeners with music, stories, ideas, and perspectives that reflect the region’s diverse cultural landscape. This milestone celebration offers attendees the chance to come together in person and support the continued future of a beloved public media institution.

Headlining the evening is BADBADNOTGOOD, the genre-defying group celebrated for blending jazz, hip-hop, soul, and experimental sounds into a distinctive musical experience. Their innovative approach and energetic performances make them an ideal centerpiece for a celebration built around creativity and cultural discovery.

The lineup also features legendary hip-hop trio Digable Planets, whose influential fusion of jazz and alternative hip-hop helped define a memorable era of the genre. Their appearance adds a powerful dose of classic hip-hop energy and provides longtime fans with an opportunity to experience their celebrated sound live.

Singer and songwriter Rozzi will bring her expressive vocals and emotionally resonant songwriting to the stage, adding another dimension to an already diverse evening.
