Red Bull Showrun is Coming to San Francisco
There is something really cool coming to San Francisco and I feel like there isn’t that much hype about it. Or maybe I am just not seeing it. Red Bull is bringing some crazy fast F1 cars to race along Marina Blvd. on February 21.
One thing about Red Bull is that when they produce an event, they do an outstanding job. From the Flugtag to the Red Bull 400, you know that you can expect an amazing event that exceeds expectations. On 2/21, they are bringing F1 race cars to speed along Marina Blvd, which sounds pretty amazing to me. With the Golden Gate Bridge and the Bay in the background, there are gonna be some pretty sweet photo opps.
Red Bull Showrun is an awesome global event series that brings the world of Formula 1 racing directly to cities around the world. You can experience the roar of F1 engines, tire-screeching donuts and precision driving up close without having to buy tickets to a big event. Organized by Red Bull Racing, these demonstrations showcase their vehicles and drivers in non-traditional settings. Part of the 2026 tour which goes to four U.S. cities, the San Francisco Showrun is definitely something you should check out if you can.

Admission is completely free and open to all ages. Because this is not a ticketed event, I would recommend getting to the area early because parking will not be easy and to make sure you get a good spot to watch all of the action.
Parking
There will be no parking in the Marina Green parking lot on 2/21. also, there will be no parking along the eastbound lanes of Marina Blvd from Baker to Beach from 2/20 to 2/22 at 10AM. Parking in the neighborhoods near the race will also be difficult (watch out for red zones), so it might be best to park South of Lombard or at one of the parking garages in the area.
Street Closures
Marina Blvd. between Baker and Beach will be closed for setup and tear down from 3AM on 2/21 to 8AM on 2/22.
It is supposed to rain that day, but it looks like the event is still scheduled. It may even be cooler in the rain. Just make sure to bring an umbrella and wear some warm and waterproof clothing so you don’t end up cold and wet.
What to Expect
Attendees can look forward to a display of Formula 1 racing, featuring the Oracle Red Bull Racing F1 car and the Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 car tearing down the street. Additionally, some sweet Ford Vehicles like the rugged Raptor T1+, the Mustang GT3, and the F-150 Lightning SuperTruck will also be part of the show.
A highlight of the day will be Yuki Tsunoda, the reserve driver for both Oracle Red Bull Racing and Visa Cash App Racing Bulls, driving the legendary RB7 car. The event also includes showcases of other Red Bull motorsports vehicles, providing a look at the brand’s dominance in racing.
