Born in Long Beach, California in 1985, J Boog began his music career in the early 2000s, performing at local reggae shows and festivals. In 2011, J Boog released his debut album “Backyard Boogie,” which included the hit singles “Let’s Do It Again” and “Sunshine Girl.” The album showcased J Boog’s ability to create catchy, radio-friendly songs while staying true to his reggae roots. Since then, he has released several more successful albums, including “Wash House Ting” in 2016 and “Vibes” in 2019, which reached number 1 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.
