Matt Seliga

Matt Seliga is the founder of CrawlSF and has been a key part of San Francisco’s event scene since 2003. Originally from the East Coast, Matt moved to San Francisco in 2002 and immediately fell in love with the energy of the city—especially its live music, local events, incredible food, and eclectic neighborhoods. What started as a way to help people discover fun things to do around town quickly turned into a full-blown passion project that now brings thousands of people together for some of the Bay Area’s biggest parties, including pub crawls, concerts, and festivals.

With over 20 years of experience creating and promoting events in the Bay Area, Matt has a deep understanding of what makes San Francisco special. His articles often focus on things to do in the city, local music festivals, nightlife, and holiday celebrations. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, checking out new restaurants, and hanging out with his wife and their 1-year-old son, Charlie—who already has an impressive collection of tracksuits. Whether he’s writing about the best places to watch fireworks or where to see your favorite band, Matt always keeps things real, relatable, and fun.
