How to Get to the Festival
From San Francisco
You can reach the Union Street Festival by bus. Take the 22, 30, 41, or 45 to get to the Marina.
From the South Bay
From the South Bay, you can take either BART or Caltrain to easily get to the Marina. Take BART to the Mission and 16th Street stop. After exiting, head to the corner to pick up the 22. This bus will take you right to the heart of the Union Street Festival.
For Caltrain, walk to the bus stop at Townsend and 4th Streets. At this stop, pick up the 30 bus and take it all the way to Chestnut and Fillmore. From here, walk four blocks north to the Union Street Festival.
From the North Bay
From the North Bay, take the 70, 80, or 101 to Lombard and Fillmore Streets. Walk north three blocks to find the Union Street Festival.
From the East Bay
The best way to get here from the East Bay is to take BART to the Montgomery Street Station. After exiting, walk two blocks north to the corner of Kearny and Sutter Streets to find the stop for the 30-Stockton bus. Take this all the way to Fillmore and Chestnut Streets. Walk south (away from the water) four blocks to the Union Street Festival.
Driving & Parking
Parking will be tough on the day of this event. I highly recommend that you take public transit. However, if you do decide to drive, then I recommend looking for parking to the north and west of the Union Street Festival. This area has fewer shops and restaurants and it will be easier to find parking here.
There are also a few garages and small paid lots in this district. The best one is on Pierce Street, just to the south of Lombard Street. Since it’s a few blocks from the festival, you might have some luck finding a spot here.
