Live 105’s Not So Silent Night is the Best Way to get the Holiday Season started. With The Killers, Linkin Park, Arcade Fire, Fallout Boy, Kings of Leon, Passion Pit, M83, Imagine Dragons and other huge acts previously rocking the stage at Oracle Arena, this has become the place to be for music lovers in the Bay Area. After much anticipation, the lineup is finally here!
This years headliners include Blink 182 and Green Day as well as many other artists that could sell out any music venue on their own.
The show will take place on December 9 and December 10 with 2 special pre-parties to get things going.

Live 105’s Not So Silent Night:
Not So Silent Night, aka NSSN is Live 105’s Annual Holiday Rock Show that has been both a 1 night or 2 night event in the past few years. This year, it is going to be 2 nights at Oracle Arena! The show will kick off early at about 5:30 and goes until around midnight. Live 105 does a great job at putting together a great lineup from start to finish, so plan on getting there early and enjoying a full night of amazing music.
Blink 182:
Blink 182 is an American rock band formed in Poway, California in 1992. The band currently consists of bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus, drummer Travis Barker, and guitarist and vocalist Matt Skiba. Founded by Hoppus, guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge, and drummer Scott Raynor, the band emerged from the Southern California punk scene of the early 1990s and first gained notoriety for high-energy live shows and irreverent lyrical toilet humor. If you missed their incredible show at Shoreline Amphitheater, you don’t want to miss them at Not So Silent Night 2016.
Empire of the Sun:
Empire of the Sun is an Australian electronic music duo from Sydney, formed in 2007. The band is a collaboration between Luke Steele of alternative rock act The Sleepy Jackson, and Nick Littlemore of electronic dance outfit Pnau. Their 2008 debut album Walking on a Dream brought the duo international success and has been certified double platinum in Australia and gold in the United Kingdom. The album provided a number of internationally charting singles including “Walking on a Dream” which peaked at number ten on the Australian ARIA Singles Chart and reached number sixty four on the UK Singles Chart, and “We Are the People”, which peaked at number fourteen on the UK Singles Chart.
Jimmy Eat World
Jimmy Eat World is an American rock band from Mesa, Arizona, that formed in 1993. As of October 2016, Jimmy Eat World have released 9 studio albums.
The band’s commercial breakthrough came with the successful release of several singles from the hit album Bleed American in 2011. Four singles from the album charted within the top 20 positions of the Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart, with “The Middle” reaching the number one position. Jimmy Eat World’s follow-up album Futures in 2004 featured another Modern Rock Tracks number one song, “Pain”. The band’s sixth album Chase This Light (2007) became the band’s highest charting album, peaking at number five on the Billboard 200. The band released their ninth album, Integrity Blues, on October 21, 2016.
Bastille
Bastille (stylised as BΔSTILLE) are a British indie pop band that was formed in 2010. It began as a solo project, but later expanded to include keyboardist Kyle Simmons, guitarist and bassist Will Farquarson, and drummer Chris “Woody” Wood. The name of the band derives from Bastille Day, which is celebrated on 14 July, the date of Smith’s birthday.
Green Day
Green Day is an American punk rock band formed in 1986 by vocalist/guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong and bassist Mike Dirnt. The Band was originally part of the punk scene at the DIY 924 Gilman Street club in Berkeley, California. The band’s early releases were with the independent record label Lookout! Records. In 1994, its major label debut Dookie (released through Reprise Records) became a breakout success and eventually shipped over 10 million copies in the U.S. Green Day was widely credited, alongside fellow California punk bands Sublime, Bad Religion, The Offspring, Blink-182, and Rancid, with popularizing and reviving mainstream interest in punk rock in the United States.
