About the Artist
A singer, songwriter, performance artist, actor and more, Lady Gaga is one of the most well-known artists in the world thanks to her hit songs and over-the-top style. After dropping out of Tisch School for the Arts, where was studying music, she started to make a name for herself as a songwriter and wrote songs for artists like Britney Spears, The Pussycat Dolls and Fergie.
After being signed to Interscope Records, she finished her transformation into Lady Gaga and took the industry by storm with the release of her first album, The Fame. the album, released in 2008 had 4 number one hits including Poker Face, Just Dance, Paparazzi and LoveGame and her songs were played worldwide at clubs, on the radio and more. She won two Grammys (with 5 nominations) and this was just the beginning.
Fame Monster, her follow up album to The Fame, was critically acclaimed and the first hit, Bad Romance, hit the #1 spot on the charts. She then went on to release Born This Way, Artpop and other great albums leading up to her most recent release, Chromatica in 2020.
Besides her music, Gaga co-starred opposite Bradley Cooper in the hit movie, A Star is Born, and scored a lead role in the 2021 hit movie, House of Gucci. She also founded Born This Way Foundation with her mother, Cynthia, which is dedicated to empowering youth and supporting the wellness of young people around the world.
